Unbelievably, yes. Even though hunting with dogs is banned, 68 hare hunts are still active across England and Wales. They chase hares with packs of hounds and exploit loopholes in the law to get away with it.
My good friend @ChrisGPackham just took on a vital new role - Chief Ecologist for @EcotalkMobile - a sim only mobile service, dedicated to rewilding Britain. How dedicated? 100%. All of our profits are used to buy land for nature. It’s a great concept, every time you call, text,…
You’re a complete c*+t. I’ve literally just seen a western doctor who has just come back from Gaza ,saying there is mass starvation. I’ve just seen footage of people dying from starvation. 100 aid agencies say the same. Is everyone lying?
When I am 70 these pictures will be regarded as the height of evil in our century. I imagine myself in debates with people expressing their horror that I will remember as having enthusiastically supported as it happened

Zack Polasnki's got better and better at this stuff as his campaign's gone on. There are a lot of politicians who think a successful digital campaign just requires them to buy a DJI gimbal and have at it. But there's a lot more going on here.
⏳ Final week to sign up to the Green Party. 🗳️ Vote for Bold Leadership on August 1st.
🔴Reform Council Bans All Mentions of Climate Change While Quietly Taking Green Funds From Government Reform-run West Northamptonshire removes all references to ‘climate change’ and ‘net zero’ from official documents yet continues to take green grants bylinetimes.com/2025/07/23/ref…
The EU’s international reputation is in ruins. Any pretence of being a liberal, human-rights–driven, law-respecting body is now laughable. History will be unforgiving to those who enabled Israel's brutal genocide. euobserver.com/EU%20&%20the%2…
The ethnic cleansing of Gaza is happening before our eyes. Israel’s barbaric killing and starvation of civilians is sickening. When the history books are written we need to have done everything we could.👇🏾 metro.co.uk/2025/07/23/hea…
This cat represents the hopes and dreams of animals suffering in silence and oblivion amidst these difficult times. I rescued her🙏🐾🫂, but she needs treatment and care to restore hope to her eyes.😿🏥💔 Together, my friends🌸, we can make a real difference.🐾🆘🌟🙏 #Gaza…
We refuse to die, tell them we will stay here 🇵🇸🫂❤️🩹
The daughter of Israel’s most famous writer, Amos Oz, calling on all soldiers to refuse to serve in Gaza. This may seem like nothing to some, or too late, or whatever, but it’s a tectonic shift there. And she’s right, of course.
No revenge for the horrors of the October Hamas attack on Israel, can warrant this #GazaStarving

The Water Commission report is out today. It's a catalogue of failings allowing short-term economic opportunism to stomp on good environmental sense. The Commission sets out some intelligent architecture for change, but largely leaves it to Government to add the ambition.
Perhaps more than the harm it has done to ancient woodland or chalk streams HS2's worst injury to nature has been scapegoating environmental protection. Nature laws cannot be blamed for the huge delays and burgeoning budget of this struggling project.
The whole point of Part 3 is to enable development in a way that's compatible with nature restoration, not to force an artificial choice between the two Sometimes nature should simply be off the table for development but most of the time good planning can work out wins for both.
Part of the reason the #PlanningBill faced such a hard time in Parliament is because of inaccurate & divisive bat-bashing by senior ministers. Government amendments improve the bill; this kind of rhetoric does not. Housing & nature need not be at odds. independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-n…
