I think we'll see most EVM apps adding native BTC support within the next 12 months. Together with a shift of easier wallet management with social sign-in and smart wallet features with 7702, this will be a huge unlock for BTCFi.

Does anyone actually like multi VM chains? We can debate all day that the EVM isn't the greatest VM ever but the tooling is pretty good. I'm quite skeptical about having more than one VM though and would think that it's really tricky to have smart contracts interact across VMs.
