Today we’re launching @Mirai On Device AI SDK. If you’re a developer, with us you can ship AI features in minutes, not months. You don’t need a full ML team to bring AI into your app. 8 lines of code, and you’ve got fast, private, on-device inference. If you’re a founder, stop…
Hey @yagilb, can you help with this? We will not disappoint you🦾
hey @lmstudio we ve built a super-duper inference engine @trymirai and want to be listed in your runtime section, what do we need for that? 😛
This is what we’ve been playing with using on-device AI at @trymirai (check the full @Luckyballa thread)
This weekend I tried replacing it with a local model, and to my surprise, it worked as good! It summarizes web pages, filters content, and even assembles UI components I wonder how many apps out there could’ve just switched to a local 4B model without any noticeable downgrade
First day of release and here we go 500+ stars! We appreciate developers community support so much, the main reward for us🦾 github.com/trymirai/uzu
A few months ago I joined forces with @eugenebokhan , @norpadon , and the rest of the team at @trymirai to build an inference engine for Apple Silicon, and it’s finally here! It’s open source, has a Swift API, and is written fully in Rust and Metal 🤘🏾 github.com/trymirai/uzu
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing
What a stellar team🦾
I’m excited to be the Chief AI Officer of @Meta, working alongside @natfriedman, and thrilled to be accompanied by an incredible group of people joining on the same day. Towards superintelligence 🚀
That’s so awkward🤪
We can’t buy Noah Shazeer for 1 billion but we can create him in the aggregate
Featured in @theinformation even before launch. Thanks, Apple, for seeding the on-device AI buzz — and @aatilley for asking what devs and AI-native builders really think. There are alternatives. Our Apple Silicon SDK is coming soon.

Exactly, we need a new hero in on-device✨
Craig Federighi says no one is doing on-device AI well right now. Not even Apple. “We're not rushing out the wrong features just to be first.” Now the mission is clear: Fix Siri -- or fall behind for good.
Let’s give devs the tools Cupertino didn’t. For someone who’s been betting hard on on-device AI, Apple’s WWDC should’ve been exciting. But it’s underwhelming instead. Here’s why, in a few words: 01 Apple’s own research says the on-device LLM is ~3B parameters, with the real…
Creativity isn’t a profession. It’s a way of operating. Not just painters, composers, or writers, but anyone who imagines what doesn't yet exist, and moves toward it boldly: → scientists crafting unseen hypotheses. → doctors rewriting life-saving protocols. → engineers…
