The "24-hour sun" in Iceland was something to behold. It stays light all night at this time of year, so you need some good blackout curtains in your room! Incidentally, the names of Iceland and Greenland were transposed during the Viking era.

I managed to get some sightseeing in while here in Iceland. I took the Golden Circle tour when here in 2013, but the sights were so stunning I had to do it again. Gulfoss Waterfall is amazing, and I managed to film the Strokkur geyser erupting twice in a row.
