Gaza’s infrastructure has collapsed. There is no clean water, no fuel, no sanitation. Over 1 million disease cases have been recorded. These deaths are preventable. The blockade must end and basic services must be restored now. #EndGazaDisplacement

Gaza faces a severe humanitarian crisis as Israeli restrictions on aid lead to widespread malnutrition and starvation, with hospitals overwhelmed by malnourished children. wapo.st/4o5O2Ek
Discussed how Afghanistan’s neighbors—Pakistan, Iran, and India—have contributed to the conditions enabling Taliban rule and mass displacement. Condemned Iran’s collective punishment of Afghan refugees and urged all neighbors to help address the root causes still forcing Afghans…
More than 1.9 million people—over 80 percent of Gaza’s population—are now displaced. Many have been forced to flee repeatedly, with nowhere safe to go. A ceasefire, safe zones, and international protection must be urgently established. #EndGazaDisplacement

From Afghan SIV, P1, P2, P3, and P4 applicants to refugees across Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, all have been forcibly displaced by escalating conflicts and life-threatening dangers. Resettlement remains a vital lifeline until wars cease. Welcome them.…
Thank you, @SenFettermanPA, for your unwavering support of America’s Afghan allies—who are, above all, Convention refugees entitled to protection under international law. They stood by the United States in defense of freedom, democracy and human rights. We must now stand by them.…
We would be walking back our promise to our Afghan allies if this is done. These heroes also risked their lives for OUR troops. We must honor our commitment to them.
For refugees. For stateless people. For asylum-seekers. For internally displaced people. For EVERYONE. Racism & discrimination are a serious threat to life, dignity & human rights. Each of us can help #FightRacism to create more peaceful societies. – via @Refugees
The blockade, the siege, the forced displacement in Gaza —none of this can be justified as security policy. These are violations of international law. The global community must stop the suffering and protect civilians under siege. #EndGazaDisplacement

Humanitarian aid has dropped from 500 trucks a day to just 28. Food, water, and medicine are being blocked while Gaza starves. This is collective punishment. We call on the @UN and donor states to demand immediate, unhindered aid access. #EndGazaDisplacement

In an upcoming interview, Ambassador @MAshrafHaidari, Founder and President of Displaced International, echoes @UNReliefChief’s urgent appeal for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza—and calls for lasting solutions to end the cycle of displacement, blockade, and war.…
We hold all parties to the standards of international law. We don’t have to choose – and we must not choose – between ending the starvation of civilians in #Gaza and demanding the unconditional release of hostages. My remarks at Security Council:
Gaza is on the brink of mass starvation. More than 80 children have already died from hunger. This is not a natural famine—it is man-made, caused by a deliberate food blockade. The world must act now to restore access and save innocent lives. #EndGazaDisplacement

Nearly 90 percent of Gaza is now under evacuation orders or military control. Over 737,000 people have been displaced—many multiple times—and pushed into a sliver of land under siege. Forced displacement is a war crime. The world must not stay silent. #EndGazaDisplacement

Children in Gaza are living with unimaginable trauma. Many have lost parents, homes, and schools. Over 90 percent suffer severe mental distress. These young lives need urgent protection, psychosocial care, and a future free from fear. #EndGazaDisplacement
