Elon Musk effectively admits that posts with links are throttled. If you've been wondering why your posts with links to journalistic articles haven't been getting nearly the engagement you would expect, this is why. I have less and less reason to be here.

"Because our world’s leading politicians and media outlets fundamentally don’t see opposition to the genocide as a legitimate viewpoint to hold, they can’t quite comprehend what is happening all around them."
Anti-Israel sentiment is often treated as if it's the product of mass antisemitism or weird hypnosis whose tricks we'll never understand. But the truth is pretty simple: people don't like Israel because Israel is committing genocide. That's it. discourseblog.com/p/people-dont-…

The most useful thing Mamdani’s victory has done to this point is make it very clear which side his various enemies are on. discourseblog.com/p/zohran-mamda…
zohran's victory is not only good because he won, but because of who he defeated: a racist, sclerotic, ultra-corrupt establishment. to see them discredited so thoroughly is, in some ways, the sweetest thing of all discourseblog.com/p/zohran-mamda…

There are so many lies being told about the US attack on Iran that it's hard to keep up. So we made this handy guide for you on the biggest, worst falsehoods being thrown around right now. discourseblog.com/p/the-biggest-…
a functioning media would lead every Iran story by saying that a) Trump's own government doesn't think Iran is pursuing nukes and b) Americans are wildly opposed to a war. Instead they let genocidal maniacs like Brett McGurk salivate for bloodshed. discourseblog.com/p/cnns-despica…
This is not a “subject that divides democrats”. A recent Economist/YouGov poll shows democrats oppose joining Israel’s regime change war on Iran 65% to 15%. The idea is overwhelmingly unpopular—even with a majority of republicans. This is not a thing anyone organically wants.
Brett McGurk was one of the key architects of the Gaza genocide. He's a partner in a venture capital firm with deep ties to Israeli defense companies and the Saudi government. CNN is now paying him to hype a war on Iran from morning till night. discourseblog.com/p/cnns-despica…
What is protesting for? Does it "work"? Is there an ideal kind of protest? I answered all of these questions—and more!—in @discourse_blog today. Hopefully you can use it as a handy guide the next time a tedious round of protest discourse arises. discourseblog.com/p/what-protest…
