Not many people thought they could/would get a deal done with Lugo in-season (me included). I know people are frustrated with the season, but we are in a rare time in Royals history where they have an owner willing to spend $$$ to retain talent.
This makes me think of one thing: Kansas’ Flory Bidunga averaged 11.3 PPG, 9.3 RPG, and 2.5 BPG in four games last season where he logged 25 minutes or more. Going to explode like a volcano in 2025-26.
