Acquired 3 Shopify apps 🛍️ Searching for an MSP 🔎
This was me circa Spring 2022. I had just bought the car of my dreams 🏎️💨 A year later, I gave it up to go buy a business. Last week, after months of searching, I finally closed on @cabanaui built by the incredibly talented @mrcndrw 👨🏻🎨

2 people have now asked for this so 🦆 it.
I wish app devs also could leave reviews for merchats on Shopify so other devs could see the reviews of merchants. Uber allows drivers to rate customers so why not to apply this to Shopify and then merchants with low score would weight less in app ratings. This would create more…
I’ve had luck with the opposite approach. 1. Follow as many people as you want (I’m still under 200). 2. Only use the For You page so you don’t have to consume every tweet by every person you follow. Only cream of the crop tweets rise to the top. I also have OCD so it was hard…
lessons for a better experience on X - follow less than 200 people - never use the for you page - create more than you consume - do interesting stuff you can talk about - use these settings (must have if you go viral!)
Album just arrived in my Apple Music. My ears are once again experiencing majestic beats not heard since the MBDTF era 👂🍭

It’s astonishing how much trust we put in organizations that have sold us on the idea that they know better, despite being on the outside looking in. This platform can get wild. Then posts like these float onto my screen and remind me why it’s actually an unbeatable source of…
After spending almost 6 years at #Palantir, I know something about what they do and what they don't do. As a result, I want to address the inaccuracies in the 6/30 @nytimes article that's been picked up by multiple outlets this week. 🧵 1/11 nytimes.com/2025/05/30/tec…
Why do wedding venues never answer my questions in the inquiry field? Is it like this in all sales? Why even put the field there if you’re just going to push for a meeting and avoid saying no. I guess I just answered my own question…
Getting my @framer creator career going with an embedded custom Google Map 🚀 Protip: If you're using @chatgpt for creating icons (Airbnb style or not), you can ask it to make it transparent. So long Canva premium 👋 @adobe Firefly has a free tool that works like 70-90% of the…

So not only did things not get better, they actually got worse. I didn’t like being cynical while all this was happening, but this is why we wait until the rubber hits the road. Hopes and wishes mean diddly squat 💩 @shopify loves to talk about their technical prowess, but can’t…
I'm a little frustrated today. I am happy Shopify is taking action regarding reviews, the purge hurt watching hard earned reviews be removed but my thoughts were that it was short term pains for long term gains. However, in the last 2 weeks we have received three 5 star…
It’s crazy how instantly the AI tech landscape got overrun with jargon allowing vendors to sell shit. I know it was like years ago but it’s extra annoying today. RAG is not dead, Agentic RAG is not anything other than a term that lets some people feel smart and put the word…
Using @ShotsAppHQ for the first time. Extremely easy to pickup and a must have for beautiful mockups!
1. Google 2. Shopify 3. Framer It’s a good time to be a developer.
Translation: bad actors gamed the system and so we have to equalize it for everyone, even though you might have done everything right.
Some developers will see small rating shifts, up or down. It sucks to lose reviews you worked hard for, but the new system is fairer for everyone. Devs won’t be held hostage to bad faith reviews, and merchants can get better signals on which apps fit them best.
