I don’t know what *schools* people go to, but it was in mine…pre 2007…in Romania. So was word processing. Now it’s just considered part of core tech competences or whatever fancy new name they gave it.
I think Microsoft Excel should be a course in universities. I mean, a standalone compulsory course.

Pretty much every worthwhile endeavor not only involves tedium, but is in fact *mostly* made of tedium. To get anywhere, have to be comfortable with that, and stay excited about your goal while working through the tedium.
