Residency can be overwhelming, and there are moments when I lose sight of my 'why' in medicine. On those days I like to stop by my favorite part of Hopkins to remember why I chose to go into medicine.

🚨 #Anesthesiology applicants! The Central App deadline is just 3 days away—don’t forget, it’s due much earlier than ERAS. #Match2025 @FutureAnesRes -Also why can’t they match the central app deadline to the ERAS deadline?

The biggest challenge for #Anesthesiology applicants this cycle seems to be navigating and optimizing their silver signals. With the new format, there's a strong emphasis on gold signals, often leaving silver signals to be seen by programs as a sign they're not a top choice.

I may only be a surgical intern, but with my limited knowledge, I believe it's quite hard to confuse the spleen with the liver.

The data on the anesthesiology match for DOs is worrisome. For DOs to score >260 to still not match our MD counterparts 250 range scores is concerning for all DO applicants going forward.
