My guess for the size of the pre-tournament selling market (considering pros only): $97m total dollars * 25% pros = $24m * On average 40% sold = $10m. The swapping market is probably another $4m or so.
The Main had 9,735 entries this year, so $97m in buyin dollars. How much of that action was sold pre-tournament? (by pros only, so like 25% of the field)
