So... I mixed it up and designed a NN-14 blaster in the same style as I design my lightsabers. It has a working trigger, prints with minimum pieces, no supports, in full color with a singe color printer, and easily assembled. Download: than.gs/m/1383445

🚨🚨🚨Protip!
Other than melted gummy bears, the only other issue I have ran into is the adhesive on the rubber feet. It doesn’t stick. I used vhb tape for a stronger bond.
I normally avoid supports, but I wanted to avoid the horizontal layer lines on this pistol grip so I printed it vertically instead and used supports and a brim. Even though it only touches the bed on the very corner, it turned out so clean, you can’t even tell it was supported.

I got a Core One from @printablescom generous reward system that I needs assembled. Meanwhile, @greghuber needed some content on his channel. So he’s assembling it for me in his remolded maker corner! Maybe @josefprusa will take note and consider sending him a unit for review.

I finally figured out how to make a collapsing Buster sword with a replaceable blade! 😲The rivets screw in and trap the blade to the guard. This sword is so much fun, and available right now on @Thangs3D! Download: than.gs/m/1368140
I just ran across this picture. MRRF 2019, my first ever collapsing sword is on the table too. I remember being late for setup because it was still printing. Great memories, just like every year!
I was floored to see them build it on stream. I was even more surprised to see it at MRRF! You know Chris is gonna keep it rep rap.
