Happy 80th to The Railway Series. Whilst not ready for today, I can safely say I've never been more nervous making a video before. However, it is being made with the generous assistance of some wonderful people, and I couldn't be more grateful. Watch this space :)

For everyone that was saying “it’s just to stop kids watching porn” very first day of the restrictions it’s been used to censor “violence” which in this case means police arresting people at protests, well done
If you have a standard X account in the UK - presumably the vast majority of British users - you cannot see any protest footage that contains any violence tonight. Because of the Online Safety Act. A relative in America sent me this screenshot of one blocked post
Here we are then, a week after the start of the end. Emotions still haven't processed fully but boy, wasn't that something special indeed? The drone caused a stir, but here's all the lovely people from above just after the photo.
What a pleasure to have been a part of this, both as The Guard and with some VFX work. There's nothing like a tight deadline, as we only filmed this about a month ago - across the 15th and 16th June.
TONIGHT at 6pm BST - The classic story from 'Four Little Engines' as you've NEVER seen it before! 'Sir Handel' presented in LIVE ACTION with narration by the Rev. W. Awdry himself, filmed at the Talyllyn Railway - where it all really happened. youtube.com/watch?v=3Z0hAb…
Absolutely fantastic. Well done to everyone who has made this possible. @nattles124

I've made a few videos this year, but this is the one I'm proudest of. Where else would I get to direct a real steam engine?! So many talented people involved in making this, but the star is really the Rev. W. Awdry who manages to bring "Sir Handel" to life anew 📸 @10LEIGH10

What was one of those 'wouldn't it be nices' suddenly came into being across a couple of days in June. The day was not 'misty', nor were the rails 'slippery', but it was fantastic display of comradery, determination and fun. One for the CV! Come and support this at 6pm BST!

Even if you saw it in the cinema or on the livestream, PLEASE give the FULL 4K version a watch this evening when it goes live! So much effort went into this, so let's try & make it the most viewed video on the TR YouTube channel!!! Who knows, maybe we'll get to do more one day?

Truly not sure if this was in the minds of any staff planning the event, but I think it’s absolutely sweet that Ffarquhar Mk2 and Ulfstead Road were operating together at both the first and last Extravaganzas. (Photo of Ffarquhar Mk2 from Abergynolwyn at last year’s event)

I need to post this. I want to say thank you to everyone who was SO supportive for Billy - as well as all the other props I could provide - this weekend! Everyone was SUPER kind. Billy is now watching all of your videos! But, I think, someone is ALSO watching Billy… #Awdry5
While this may be the last Extravaganza for a while, it is by no means the end of our connection with that mythical island off the north west coast of England - for those links are stronger than ever! The Organisers. 📸 Nathan Spence
Most of all, thank you to the one and only Reverend Wilbert Awdry for he has brought us all together through a common love.
To our amazing volunteers out on the trains, adorned in purple, in the blockposts, selling tickets and to the staff in the cafés and office - thank you for all of your hard work, we literally cannot do this without you!
