Our paper in @BiophysJ is about lipids, obviously, but there's a neat little trick for the caged compound / photopharmacology / optogenetics crowd: A method for absolute quantification of single-cell photo reaction yields directly from reporter responses.

Today is the last day of the EMBO practical course „Membrane Protein Expression, Purification and Characterization” at EMBL Hamburg and CSSB. It has been great 8 days together. We wish the participants all the best in their future work with membrane proteins.
