During the second Test at Edgbaston, the Eric Hollies Stand will once again play its role in shaping the atmosphere and amplifying the drama. @debasissen takes a deep dive to have a look at the historic stand. #ENGvIND @Edgbaston revsportz.in/eric-hollies-s…
Hats off to @bbctms One of the best pieces of audio I’ve ever heard – epic Ashes 2005 commentary, stunning BBC Philharmonic music and powerful narration by Charles Dance. A brilliant way to mark 20 years. Get on it and enjoy. 🏏 bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…

What a lovely surprise on the Father Time Wall at Lord’s – massive thanks to the guys at @HomeOfCricket for this gesture, really appreciate it! Today is my 114th Test working for England. Honoured and a privilege to do this role. 🦁🦁🦁

The best interview of the summer so far. Inspirational and heartwarming. Well done, Ravi and TMS!!
Ravi's debut on Test Match Special. On Saturday, we had the privilege of welcoming Ravi into the TMS commentary box. It was an absolute joy to chat with him. 12-year-old Ravi, who is blind, is a cricket fanatic and plays Super 1s. Keep being you, superstar. ❤️
80 years ago I remember going with my parents to a VE party in a local church hall my dad took my sisters high chair and some blokes asked if they could cut a tree down in our garden which they did and they dragged it to make a Bon fire in a adjacent street 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧#VEDay80
This was Craig Innes’ debut for Leeds. What a player and a top lad. Challenge Cup versus York.

In 1989, aged 14, I met Denis Law after Scarborough beat Chelsea in the League Cup. He was making the 3rd Round draw for ITV's Midweek Sports Special and shared brilliant stories about Man Utd, Huddersfield, and Scotland. Great days with my dad and brother.
Manchester United legend Denis Law has died, aged 84. He scored 237 goals for the Red Devils - only Sir Bobby Charlton and Wayne Rooney scored more. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

APPEAL On the evening of Thursday 17th October a number of masked people burgled my home in the Castle Eden area in the North East. They escaped with jewellery, other valuables and a good deal of personal items. Many of those items have real sentimental value for me and my…
Four straight @NRL Premierships in one of the toughest leagues in the world is unreal. To do it under a salary cap? Phenomenal. This may never happen again. Congrats @PenrithPanthers on an incredible dynasty! #NRLGF #RugbyLeague 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏉

I can't quite believe that's me commentating when Kevin Sinfield scored his first Super League try. Good times. It was a last-minute call-up to do it when the leading commentator wasn't available.

Incredibly saddened by the passing of Bill Arthur. He was always kind, passionate and a thoughtful professional. His love for Rugby League and loyalty to Sky Sports will always be remembered. Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. Another good ’un has gone.
Sky Sports today confirms the incredibly sad news that legendary Sky Sports rugby league commentator, Bill Arthur, has died at the age of 68 after a long battle with prostate cancer.
This might be the most important piece I've ever written. When England play Spain on Sunday, just take a moment for those who cannot celebrate football independent.co.uk/sport/football…

This week marks my 100th Test with @englandcricket! Honoured to serve the players, coaches, staff and the media. Emotional to see @jimmy9 retire at Lord’s. A true legend. 🙌 First met Jimmy 25 years ago at Burnley FC - how things come full circle! Go well, Jimmy. 🦁🦁🦁

It was great seeing Jofra Archer in brilliant form with the media this morning at Windward CC - a cricket ball throw from his house in Barbados. He was engaging, honest and relaxed as he prepares for Australia at the Kensington Oval on Saturday in Bridgetown. #icct20worldcup2024
