Vikings defeat Heartland 12-4. Now 2-0 in the NJCAA D2 World Series. Danny Lazaro got the W w/6 IP w/ 9 K's. Roger Vergara went 4/4 w/ 2 RBI's. Tripp Davis was 3/4 w/ a 2B & 1 RBI. Nathan Gagnon 2/5 w/ 2 R HR & 2B. Ben Barrow was 2/4 w/ a 3 R HR & 2B. Blane Schmitt was 2/4.
Vikings defeat Coastal Alabama 7-1 to win the NJCAA South District Championship and advance to the NJCAA D2 World Series in Enid, Ok. for the 2nd straight year. Danny Lazaro went 6.2 IP allowing 1 R to get the W. Caden Kok got the SV with 5 K's in 2.1 IP. SO PROUD OF THE GROUP!

Vikings split Saturday's DH vs Lake Sumter to win 2 of 3. LS won 7-4 in gm 1 & SJR won gm 2 5-1. Danny Lazaro got the W with 7 IP allowing 1 R on 3 H's. Tyler Helton got the SV with 2 scoreless IP. Myles Liggans was 2/2 w/ a 2B & 3 BB's,RBI. Mike Furry was 3/5 w/ a 2B & 2 RBI's.
Vikings win 10-1 at FSCJ. Danny Lazaro gets the W going 6.2 IP allowing 4 H's 1 ER 2 BB's and 9 K's. Viking hitters pounded out 13 hits. Series continues tomorrow with a DH at Tindall Field in Palatka. First pitch is at 12:30 pm.
