Desktop app versioning is so different. For a SaaS, there usually a v2 after a long time, maybe 2-3 years after the first launch. For a Mac app, it's not uncommon to see v4, v5 for an app just a little more than 1 year old.

Claude Code is very good at porting the codebase from one platform to another. I just ported my app from macOS to iOS and it works very well. A lot of platform check conditions but it would take me hours. What a time to be alive.
I realize when a founder say “user”, they can mean different things: paying customers, free accounts or web visitors. And the numbers can be wildly different. 10k paying customers is a lot more impressive than 10k web visitors.
This is scary. You and I can totally be in the same situation tomorrow. The most crazy part about this is we can’t even appeal. Once they ban your account, you’re pretty much rekt. I’ve seen many stories where the founder is helpless. If you know someone at @Apple, please help…
