If you enjoy the results spreadsheet I maintain for the college season, I keep the same data for the @PremierLacrosse season! Link below, spreads updated throughout the week. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
This is so incredibly cool.
A quick shout out to @PaulRabil of the @PremierLacrosse about the @PLLCannons. After a recent match, we made our way to a favorite restaurant near closing; it was empty except for a table of young men. One of them, @MarcusHolman1, called out to my son (a @ResoluteLAX team…
Through 7 weeks + ASG, the PLL is averaging ~210k viewers per game (+1.45% YoY through this timeframe) The ASG highlighted past weeks, averaging ~268k viewers (+80% YoY) and is the PLL’s most-viewed ESPN broadcast ever Sadly, UTAH/CAR on 7/18 was the least-viewed game since ‘22
I am more and more in the school of thought that in these situations, numbers don't matter. The only thing that matters is "is the defense ready to help right now?" Smith dodges while the Whips are down a man because it's clear the Dogs are not ready to support the matchup.
LOVE how quickly the @PLLWhipsnakes attack after the faceoff win (and then did it down a man). Clean win + quick sub from LSM + ready to attack immediately is a recipe for success. It's what made them so dangerous in '24 - would love to see more of it down the stretch.
You guys remember back in Week 2 when @QKessenich had the Redwoods at the bottom of his power rankings and people called him a hater who didn't know what he was talking about? How's that goin?
Originally, the Saturday 1pm was Whipsnakes vs Redwoods. That's been flexed to Saturday Night Lacrosse on ESPN+. The best team in the east now plays the best team in west on ABC at 1pm.
Schedule update for the @PLLAtlas vs. @DenverOutlaws matchup in Denver:
Play more box, kids.
When your faceoff man can set picks like this, it's no surprise @PLLAtlas rank top three in 32-second shot clock efficiency (26.1%). cc: @patmckeever24
"They say that lacrosse is a medicine game..." 🧡🥍 What an honor to host Jack Johnson in our Premier Zone in Fairfield and learn about the traditional stick-making process. @PLL_Assists
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game drew 2.2 million viewers on ESPN, ABC, and Disney+. It's the league's second most-watched ever—but down 36% from last year's featuring Caitlin Clark and Team USA.
Give me this, but Connor Fields on one half and Jeff Teat on the other.
BREAKING: The reigning MVPs will have a 1/1 Dual Gold Logoman Autograph card. The card is being inserted into one random pack of 2025 Topps Chrome.

A notable @Inside_Lacrosse Transfer Tracker update: •M Mark Watters, Saint Joseph's to @PennStateMLAX Watters scored 25 goals for the Hawks last year. He'll have two years of eligibility with the Nittany Lions. insidelacrosse.com/article/di-men…
The Redwoods have claimed LSM Ryland Rees after the Waterdogs released him last week. To make room on the roster, they are releasing Nakeie Montgomery.
I think this is the perfect way to describe the Denver Outlaws right now.
WNBA All-Star Three-Point Contest/Skills Challenge sees big increase in ratings, viewership: sportsmediawatch.com/sports-ratings…
Brad Smith had three scores in 15 seconds and completely changed the tone/trajectory of that game. Might not have the same total stats, but had a massive impact on the game.

Sickos of the sports internet, UNITE
In just one summer, Pablo Torre has shown why turning sports journalism over to AI will be a monumental mistake and how AI will never be able to replicate the curiosity of a sports sicko.
