How did Lido go from 30 -> 500+ Node Operators and become a haven for community stakers? Community Staking Module (CSM) CSM v1 has been great - but it exposed two issues: • Some professional NOs are (ab)using CSM to earn more • It's not ready to scale CSM v2 will fix both 🧵
The Community Staking Module, the first permissionless way for operators to use @LidoFinance is on a path to grow 50% (up to 3% of Lido TVL) very soon. 3% is a whopping ~8560 validators (~274000 ETH)! With CSMv2 on the way, CSM can grow to 5% -> 10% (subject to DAO vote) by EOY.
