Proud of @ImkeLankheet delivering a great thesis defense today! Thank you to @ktambets for giving Imke the opportunity to showcase her knowledge in engaging discussions!

Many many congrats to Imke who "nailed" her thesis today! Great journey and great thesis! Looking forward to the defense with @ktambets as opponent. @ImkeLankheet. Link to thesis: uu.diva-portal.org/smash/record.j…
Happy that this week I have started my PhD at the Human Evolution program @HumanEvoUU in the Schlebusch group @cschlebu 🥳🧬📜🕵🏼♀️ I will focus on different aspects of African genetic history by studying both ancient and present-day genomes from around the continent
We are happy to share our new publication: "BaTwa populations from Zambia retain ancestry of past hunter-gatherer groups" Congrats and thanks to Gwenna and all co-authors! rdcu.be/dRT7t nature.com/articles/s4146…
Excited to share our latest research on African genetic diversity! Using ABC modeling on full genomes from Central+Southern Africa, we uncover deep African history and gene-flow processes. Khoe-San lineages diverge ~300,000 years ago. Congrats Paul and Gwenna for this great work!
