This is well done. It's long and thorough, but I think this level of understanding of React is good knowledge for most JavaScript web developers. React brought a lot more with it than VDOM technology.
🌐 The History of React Through Code We have a new article for you, and this is a big one. 👀 There were many criticisms of React's design throughout the years, but how valid are they? Our new article explores that and much more!
I genuinely think this is the best article I've ever written. It's a long one, but it covers: - React's history going back to 2014 - Reintroducing React's concepts from first principles - Architecture review of the React itself - Explaination of Idempotence in React And more!

You love to see the best people you know win - this is absolutely a case of such! Can't wait to see how the Vue and broader web ecosystems evolve as a result.

Because their original vision was completely at odds with accessibility.
iOS 26 beta 3 completely nerfs Liquid Glass. It looks so much cheaper now and feels like Apple is backtracking on their original vision.
The @solid_js adapter for @tan_stack Store was fairly broken until today. Should be fixed now as of 0.7.2. Performance should be better as well in most usecases. Please update to test and ensure no regressions were made. Thanks!
.@edpratti is cooking some of the best React illustrations you've ever seen for my next blog post 🤩
.@fredkisss is a legend. I like to think I know my way around React and Next.js - I've written a book or two on the topic after all - but he puts it all to shame. I mean it, we've had a number of in-depth React source readings and I was continually asking him for guidance.
I'm #opentowork 🙃 if anyone is interested. I'm open short or long term contracts and fulltime position whether it is fullstack or frontend. here is my portfolio: fredkiss.dev
