Threads are a unit of concurrency. Physical CPU cores are a unit of parallelism.

Heh opportunistically spedrun this even if it seems quick, and I really really like the patterns here. Io looks really nice to use, the defer feels like Go as it Should Have Been, and I found a new thing (last paragraph of screenshot) to scream to the world.
