Prayer request & update: Hospital is doing another MRI on my dad- he's still not able to move his legs, but now he's losing feeling in them, too. Dr's are not sure if he'll need another spinal surgery. Prayers, please- we love him like crazy and just want him healthy & home.

Either stocks and GDP are blind indicators or you can argue that GDP and stocks mainly measure the economic position of investors, producers, etc.--so an economy can be functionally "good" without many people experiencing it. In either case that's really, really bad.
This is true, of course. But it's wild that more people aren't alarmed by key economic indicators being totally unresponsive to actual long term economic health. A market that doesn't know what about to hit it is not a strong economy. It's literally just 2007.

I wish more people understood that, unlike the Golan or West Bank, Gaza offers Israel zero strategic, agricultural, spiritual, or economic value. Without Palestinians it's just a small pile of sand. It's only about the Palestinians. Israel is literally just there to kill people.
