Ok yes this ive noticed with the reaction to suki making wild decisions that people base their opinion off the impulsive choices in the moment rather than waiting to see the aftermath and her ACTUAL reaction once she's thought it through and dealt with it
i just don’t think the suki/avani scenario is as black and white as people are trying to make out at this current point. we’re going off initial knee-jerk reactions over a surprise pregnancy. i’ll form my opinion after a few more episodes based on how the conversations develop..
people seem to forget her ex husband almost killing her and eve, suki being the one falling from a fucking building and eve poisoned and nish having bought dual graves for him and suki only 7 months ago I'd be a little fucked in the head and not making rational life choices
I get it, Suki isn't thinking straight and shes going about things in the wrong way, but it's gonna take more than getting married and being free to navigate the new life she has now she's more open and vulnerable & overcoming toxic coping strategies from trauma.
like suki is not immune to making stupid decisions but a lot of the decisions she makes is literally a trauma response and people don't want to acknowledge that like you don't have to agree with what she does but if you look at her life how she deals with situations make sense
if only everyone could understand the complexity of the character that is suki panesar-unwin. call her out when she’s wrong, yes absolutely but have a little understanding as to WHY she’s done something
the way I've been saying this for the better part of 2 years like writers listen to me nobody has begged for ash to come back the way I have I just want them to talk
the way suki’s mentality could be fixed if her and ash have a proper conversation & if she went to therapy…
soap writers have a weird obsession with pushing this narrative that babies will solve all problems and will make people be happier and tbh it's getting odd like it is ok for women to be childless and have a fulfilling life
I love when suki does something so wildly out of the pocket of space time and reality that I can sit with my thoughts and think about how complex her characters is and how she's not one dimensional and how she has some many different layers to her like she really is my girl
tweet 48392929 about wanting ash back so her and suki can resolve their traumas
i don't necessarily think suki has bad intentions albeit selfish and stupid in terms of expecting avanis to keep the baby but clearly she wants to be a better mother but she has to deal with her preexisting children and resolve decades worth of trauma you cant have a do over
crying at how John and Aaron are supposed to husbands and have been in this relationship for a while yet it feels like they are strangers who were forced to marry last night #Emmerdale #Robron
hi ee did you know you could simply bring back ash! have her and suki talk through their problems, have a nice candid chat and heal from their traumas her wanting to raise a child in hopes for a new start don't erase the fact that trauma still exists between them #EastEnders
heyyyyyy so I'll be the first person to say that the way people in the fandom talk about lola is super fucking weird considering how she died which was from an aggressive brain tumor like idk yall are kinda wacked in the head for acting the way you do #EastEnders
robert sugden in overalls was a fantastic decision thank you #Emmerdale #Robron

she fineeeee as fuck I don't give a single fuck if she's mean or a bitch

Aaron and Robert clearing the air we are slowing getting them to interact more hallelujah #Emmerdale #Robron
some how trauma + the everlasting effects it has on a person and how that person treats people in their lives due to repressed unresolved trauma stops when it comes to suki then all of a sudden she's an evil person while other characters get the benefit of the doubt okay then....
