I have this garage door opener app on my phone. And I can just tell it’s kind of a shit app. Slow. Inexplicably riddled with ads. Something is fucked with the auth. But I swear this garage door dev team is shipping shit on a daily basis. Everytime I go in there it’s different.
What’s weird about building right now is that no one really knows what we’ll coalesce around. We’re trying a bunch of stuff, most of it kind of works — often surprisingly well — but nothing’s locked in. Yes development is ever-changing, but this feels especially unmoored.…
One huge upside of Claude Code plugged into the @github ecosystem is that every solo/side project has a really solid colleague now. Much more momentum when I have pal to work with.
Why don't I take browser extensions seriously? Always seem like hot garb. What's an extension you use regularly that's not hot garb.
Cool that gist is becoming a bit of a museum of github style circa 2015. Do not touch. No notes.

Also I'm not gonna be the pair here. We've blown past that now in a real hurry. Sorry.
• Don't want to push or open a pr and have an agent review code; just want it to be correct out of the gate. • Barring that I want a second model to play critic/reviewer and evaluate what the primary model is doing. • Yes tests are an enormous part of the equation but still…

Ok now supports live game data. Let me know if you want a link. Wrote the thing in claude code in ten minutes, deployed to @flydotio in seconds, plugged it up and we're good.
Wrote a little mlb mcp server + plugged into @AnthropicAI; works great!

Every time I read model docs they say something like ‘that’s enough context for 7000 books’ and then I consume all of that context in like one hour of vibe coding.
Need something like Agent Context Convention to emerge. Does this already exist? Am I thinking about it incorrectly?

Anyone have a photo of the @github shop at hq circa 2016? Trying to explain the reckless glory to some folks and need photographic evidence. They don’t make em like they used to.
One of the best pieces of advice I've ever received was so simple but so impactful: "own your availability." Kudos to @isamlambert for that gem. We weren't talking about 9s, we were talking about calendar/priorities/etc. Easy to look up and realize you've lost control of your…
Took five minutes to add sandboxed code execution with @daytonaio. So ridiculous. I am drunk with power. You should be too.
This era is just so fun. @v0, @supabase, a few iterations and we're live.
