I got in a nice walk along the lake and down to the Old Mill. The Old Mill was in the opening scene in Gone With the Wind. It’s an iconic landmark here in town. Its been a while since I last seen it. It’s a beautiful place. I hope everyone has a great week ahead. #photography

It’s lunchtime at my house. I made up some chicken fried steaks, mashed potatoes pinto beans & flat iron cornbread. It’s strawberry season here so I worked up some berries and made a cake. Did I leave anything out? I hope everyone is having a great day. #lunch #photooftheday

It’s another hot day and my air was out earlier but it has been fixed. I made a ham & cheese sandwich with chips and a cucumber salad for lunch. I was going to make a lemon pie last night but decided on chocolate instead so I used my lemons for lemonade. It’s a good day. 😉😀🥪

I got my hike in a later than normal thinking it would cooler. I was so wrong. 😑 It was a sauna out there. I have hiked this trail before and I always enjoy it. The views of the Buffalo River valley are some of the best. I hope everyone had a great weekend. #hiking #photograghy

Summertime has arrived. It was humid and sticky with temps in the 90’s for my hike today. I am not ready for heat just yet. It was a nice hike though and it was good to be outdoors. I hope every one has had a great weekend. #hiking #photography

Rain is on the way so I got my yard work done. I fired up the grill afterwards and grilled a t-bone and made mashed potatoes green beans and a cherry pie for dessert. I got my first cucumber from the garden. So good! I hope everyone is having a great hump day. #photography #lunch

I did my first bushwhack hike yesterday. The scenery was beautiful but the rock scrambles and climbs were challenging. I didn’t make it to my destination because I ran out of time and battery power to navigate. I will be back to finish what I started. I won’t be defeated. 😃
