Vintage McDonald's Super-Collector. 80s & 90s Food/Drink Nostalgia. ***All images posted are from my own archives***
My latest McDonald's buying trip results! Pickups include dozens of extremely rare translite signs, a Ronald Barrel of Fun, sealed Happy Meal toys, 60s era items, a Mayor McCheese Bag and even Ray Kroc's drapes! Still working hard to be the best McDonald's collector out there!!!

The Muppet Babies Happy Meal was one of the most successful to that point in history. A small set with some really iconic toys. (1987)

The 1994 McRib box from the Flintstones-inspired RocDonald’s Grand Poobah meal... packaging design doesn't get much sweeter than this!

The 1988 lineup of McDonald's french fries: the best packaging design, the best tasting fries.

In 1998, McDonald's offered the MCBRANSON BBQ BURGER at Southwestern Missouri locations. The sandwich was a QPC with round bacon and "Silver Dollar City Barbeque Sauce." Other cities might be bigger, but Branson, MO is one of few that can lay claim to its own McDonald's menu item

Just in case it’s 1980 and you’re on the fence about grabbing McDonald’s for breakfast, here’s a free BIC RAZOR!

PIZZA HUT HITS: 12 songs that have nothing to do with pizza… but look at that cover! (1982)

Yep, you read that right - SOUR CREAM & CHIVES STEAK FRIES… AT MCDONALD’S (1991)

From the can collection: The PEPSI WILD BUNCH (1991) - Raging Razzberry, Strawberry Burst & Tropical Chill. Elite can design meets some fun, limited-time flavors... unfortunately, these never made it past test markets.

The SPACE JAM Happy Meal featured eight characters that connected together to make a basketball court. Curiously, Michael Jordan wasn’t represented in the toy line, but it was a cool set nonetheless. (1996)

In 1994, SONIC 3 got its own Happy Meal. The other three toys were fine, but that flying Tails was clearly the star of the show.

Crazy to imagine a time when McDonald's would have a legit CAROUSEL in the middle of its restaurant. This kid is having the time of his life riding that Filet-O-Fish.

After a long run of offering generic “orange drink,” McDonald’s switched over to HI-C ORANGE in 1993. What do you think - upgrade or downgrade?

The mugs get all the love, but let me tell ya, the Flintstones Happy Meal with the car and companion garage was an-all timer. That "Toy-S-Aurus" is such a great touch. (1994)

In 1982, McDonald's introduced the Spaceship Happy Meal nationally - a burger and fries were loaded in a plastic ufo with a sticker sheet to decorate the craft. IMO, this is probably the first truly great Happy Meal promo ever.

I think we can all agree that a McDonald's dining room was a heck of a lot classier with one of these Tiffany-style light fixtures hanging over your booth. (1981)

I don't care if anybody ended up with the million bucks or not... McDonald's Monopoly brought us photographic evidence of Rich Uncle Pennybags playing a Sega Game Gear and that means we all won (1995)

This Bart Simpson Fruit Punch Bubble Gum tube is almost as old as the show itself, dated 1990. Side note, I miss the days of slimy toothpaste-ish gum.

Here's a photo from a McDonald's in-store appearance of MAC TONIGHT. Looks like Mac handed out a sweet Clock Radio Telephone during his visit, too. (1988)
