Really hoping I can keep this Father’s Day tradition going until her 18th birthday.

The difference in quality between Bluey and literally any other recently produced children’s media is unbelievable. Why are most kids shows so bad? The terrier side characters who actually call out historical battle formations is one of a thousand little attention to details…

One thing that has disappeared that it seems like few people have noticed: the extremely well researched historical fiction novel. Books where the authors spent years - or decades - researching the history. Last one I can remember is Wolf Hall.

Very strange to see something I made while absolutely hammered in college over 20 years ago is still culturally relevant today. I regret nothing.

I’m not sure who doesn’t already know this, but The Wire has aged amazingly well. Fascinating to be reminded of how police worked right before everyone had a cellphone.

I’m trying to decide if Yellowstone was always bad and Kevin Costner was just good enough to make it watchable.

Asked my hotel in Edinburgh if they had any rooms with a good view. They said they had a tiny room on the top floor which I took and think I made the right choice.

Time to establish a new Father’s Day tradition in this household.

It’s wild to me we can buy, for under $1000, a flying camera that can fly for 20+ minutes and take pictures of this quality, then automatically fly back home and land itself.

Took my one week old Rivian R1S off-roading and was blown away by how capable it was, even on the road tires.
