Free Palestine, you stupid motherfuckers
What would you do if your child burned to death after your neighbours child was blown to pieces after your cousins child was shot 355 times? I know what I'd do. A letter to all my friends who tell me to just shut up and be happy. in todays @irishexaminer

As Irish TDs take summer recess, please point to one tangible decision theyve taken that has positively affected Palestinians? Im glad @AbubakerAbedW is calling them out. For too long, they've cosplayed under an umbrella of Irish solidarity. In truth, they're no better than Lammy
@AbubakerAbedW spoke in the House of Commons last week. I would strongly recommend Irish TDs asking him to do the same at Dáil Éireann. I wish every gov minister to hear what he has to say in person. Either we are for Palestine at this point, or we are helping to kill them all
No to this pantomime. The people are already protesting. His job is to enact the OTB, stop the bonds and the illegal use of our air space. Harris with his endless PR can run along now.
Even still, their foot soldiers had a choice. "I was just following orders" doesn't cut it
God yes. This industry has shown itself to be irredeemable, run by the cruelest and stupidest and greediest executives we've ever seen, totally divorced from the mission and the purpose of journalism. Ignorant clods in almost every media C-suite.
Trying to write witty, lightheaded columns in the midst of relentless carnage in Palestine is an uncomfortable endeavour. Still, it seems necessary if only for sanitys sake. Here's one on parenting in summer. And yes, I understand the privilege. Todays @irishexaminer

Thanks to @Trickstersworld and @williamhboney1 for the opportunity to discuss - amongst many other things - how Irish media has talked (or not talked) about Palestine

Anyone who claims to support the cause and spends their time online garnering engagement and follows should be actively working to get campaigns funded. There is no other valid use for social media (a surveillance tool of the oppressors) at this time.
Parents know the fleeting trauma of children & night terrors. You can do nothing, but you know your child will wake up. In Gaza, the terror is relentless & the only conclusion to that terror is death. Quick, from a bomb or bullet. Or slow from staravtion irishexaminer.com/news/spotlight…
So many good people doing so many good things for Gaza. Please share and support in any way you can 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Can I get my Irish friends to amplify this please...
41 years!!! This is literally me on the Thursday before a weekend on the beer, and the Monday after. I need to read more about George's story, but at first glance - fair play to him, and Free Palestine 🇵🇸 🇱🇧
After 41 years in prison, his first words were “Freedom for Palestine and we must strengthen the revolutionary struggle.” Zionists will never win.
I have never met @mir_ocall and do not pay her a retainer (though I probably should) 🙏🏼
Colin Sheridan is an ex Irish Army Officer, served with UN, lived in the Middle East & is writing powerfully on Gaza. This experience & expertise should make him an obvious choice for interviews, panels @TonightVMTV @rtenews @RTE_PrimeTime @NewstalkFM Did I just miss him?
The Late Late Show will be back next month with Solicitous Sir Bob and Bothered Bono on in full grief porn mode. They'll sing a song they co-wrote called "Come Weep with me at the Wailing Wall", or "From Jericho to Jerusalem." A holiday to Tel Aviv for everybody in the audience
I love the lighting and the camera angle. And the rolly-thoughtful-eye thing he does. Its really good they had him on because he's been all over this for the last two years. His point about Israelis perhaps being unaware because they only watch the news is genius. What a prick

“Their government is out of control. It is a despicable disgrace.” Live Aid campaigner and musician Bob Geldof condemns the Israeli government’s role in the Gaza crisis as he speaks to @MiriamOCal amid mounting deaths from hunger. WATCH: @rtenews | #rtept

If Ireland was openly trading with Nazi Germany while fully aware of the Holocaust, would economic pragmatism excuse the moral delinquency of continuing that relationship? Sacrifice often comes with painful consequences. We absolutely should pay a price. We made this bed
Quite the reaction to this. But I don’t get how anyone could think I am sympathetic to Israel or their lobby stateside, both of which I have criticised trenchantly. My point is they have huge capacity to advocate severe consequences for Ireland via US law if the OTB is enacted.
Imagine Jews screaming from inside a concentration camp in 1944, describing the horror of the Holocaust around them, and the world still not intervening? The Palcast and @Trickstersworld have consistently platformed Palestinian voices. Its them we should be listening to first
Please listen to this PalCast with journalist in Gaza, @Ahmed_A1Najjar And DEMAND ACTION. Open the Gates! #GazaStarving #JournalismIsNotACrime Apple: podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/pal… Spotify: open.spotify.com/episode/3LNNuZ…
Wasn't gonna do the "as someone who" bit, but, as someone with a fair bit of military experience across a broad spectrum of conflict zones, I can say that Gaza is by far the most deserving of an aggressive military intervention. But Ray fuckin Charles could've told us that
Any country with any morals would rain bombs down on every single IOF military base. #BombTheIOF
Exactly this. Horny for Peabodys and thirsty for Pulitzers. Body armour and helmets dirtied up like a pair of Golden Goose
Assembling their 'war faces'. The frown under the new haircuts. Sleeves rolled just so. The in-the-field watch. The 'nothing can prepare you...' @malonebarry. Reporting back to anchors who spent 22 months at " but Israel would contest that'. Filthy.
And watch how they trip over themselves to get in when the bastards finally let them. White buttoned down shirts at the ready. Tears prepped like scotch aged in sherry casks
Hundreds of high-profile Western journalists are complicit. And, here's the thing, many of them genuinely believe that all they're doing is being objective. After 25 years in this business, I know the hubris well.
