Instead of money for Corporation for Public Broadcasting, those funds (or much of them) should be reallocated for rural/low income internet connectivity in this country. But PBS, NPR, etc don't really just want people connected -- they want to serve them their homespun message.

Also about this Public Broadcasting funding ... If you live in Whale Pass, Alaska or someplace I'll halfway listen to you because you truly could be the only link for a community. But if you're whining about funding in New York or Boston or Pittsburgh you can get lost.

I have a solution for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting people whining about getting their funding cut. Go sell ads like the rest of the media.

Sports talk radio is such an odd space. In every town it truly does have way too many out-of-shape guys who don’t just feel comfortable talking shit on world class athletes, but do it in a real condescending way.
