Where did the notion of journalists being ‘neutral’ or presenting ‘both sides’ come from? Most issues are multifaceted & complex but facts are facts & alternate opinions don’t change facts. Truth can be hard to find but it can & must be found. That is the job of journalists.

Was in hospital a few weeks ago with a bit of an emergency. An anaesthetist was called. Checking my details, he queried my DOB. I confirmed it was correct. ‘Gee, you’ve held up well.’ Yes, I am in a coronary unit about to have my heart jump started. I’m doing great. 😂
