Hi, I'm making an indie RPG about a clam who hates his job and decides to become a stand-up comedian instead you can lie to children, explore the sewers, haggle for butter, and be anxious
Bittersweet feelings today as I'm setting up the last playable scene in Clam2 (I say this but knowing me, I'll 100% add three other bonus scenes at some point)
In order to keep up with modern video game visuals, we here at ClammoCo have really been kicking up the 4d3d3d3 on the graphics lately

No more shots from this scene due to spoilers but enjoy this ambience with sound on

Sorry for the lack of updates lately - just gone through a massive move and just now starting to settle in! Clam dev is going well though, except I'm not drawing and animating a backlog of 12 characters during a murderous heat wave More news presumably later on at some point!

Had a great time recording this - give it a listen and go follow @The41stPrecinct for more interesting chats!
Brand new episode of Human Can Opener is now live! Interviewing former stand up comedian turned D&D dungeon master and game developer extraordinaire, Martin Hanses, the brilliant mind behind Clam Man & it’s upcoming sequel Clam Man 2! Link in the replies! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
very unexpected development today while working on one of the late-game areas of the game

A really fun episode this one! Clam Man 2 deserves way more attention & I think Disco Elysium fans will especially enjoy it! The demo on steam is fantastic & I urge you all to give it a try, you can even play with different skills for very different outcomes, highly recommend it
Had a great time chatting with @The41stPrecinct today, always a pleasure to talk RPG mechanics with someone who knows their stuff. Episode coming soon!

I have some very surprising and wild news (all positive) to share at some point, but for now, I'll say this; I'm working as hard as I can to finish Clam Man 2: Headliner in the next six months, and the game will most likely come out later this year.

Episode 2 season 2 is out now of the Indie Dev Game Break podcast. Martin Hanses is our guest with an update on the upcoming Clam Man 2! indiedevgamebreak.substack.com/p/martin-hanse… #indiegame #clamman #indiedev @marafrass @clam_team
Sometimes I really don't want to write another stand-up bit, and instead write ten times the amount of words just to circumvent it with something else. I won't say where this is, what this is, or where you can find it, but it's my favorite hidden scene yet.
Pleased and somewhat confused to announce that there is now not only a review of one of the in-game shows (obviously different depending on how it went), but also a chance to instead get a 1000-word essay written by an in-game critic about the relationship of art and critique
