Mine is less extraordinary than this, but when I was in third grade, my dad taught me the formula for the area of a trapezoid, which is also the formula for summing consecutive numbers. I got all excited, like I’d discovered a secret magic spell The next day at school, a girl…
I finished all the 6th grade library books and most of 6th grade math by the end of 1st grade but the school counsellor only let me skip one grade because they were scared of "stunting my social development." That's when I realized schooling was mostly about psyopping children.
working on sbpf light-build, a new build mode with minimum dependency, no llvm no lld. look how fast this baby is

This is exactly why I like this space. On paper I’m actually “unhirable”: - No university diploma - No formal coding experience or knowledge - Only startup experience But let me tell you, give me the most autistic and impossible challenge and you’ll wake up with a solution
If you're hiring, try setting a gauntlet like "do xyz, send me a repo with working code and i'll give you a one month trial and keep you on if it goes well." This lets people have something to aspire to that's actually what you need instead of playing the fake CV game.
about to make the tooling much better with the help of @clairefxyz

Let’s gooo (roar) (woof woof)
if I cared, I would write entrypoint2, make it not suck, make the vm look for entrypoint2 and fallback to entrypoint. @realbuffalojoe do this before these animals rewrite everything in assembly
Joining the gang
Now that it's no longer just me and @cavemanloverboy, I'm pretty bullish on how far we can push Solana bytecode. If the compiler developers will just stop breaking things, I bet tooling and code examples are going to be very robust by EOY.
Solana entrypoint deserialize in asm, if anyone cares 😅 github.com/thewuhxyz/asm-…
Last December I walked into Zeus office and basically said me: I’m a compiler engineer looking for an interesting project in crypto @ironaddicteddog : I know a guy… That’s how I met @deanmlittle Fast forward to now - just had the most amazing week at accelerate pc:…

The bulk of the VM powering the debugger was developed at the Toronto Startup Village. Shoutout to @SuperteamCAN for creating such a supportive and inspiring environment 🫶
