especially in death stranding the cutscenes feel like a fun little movie break between gameplay. its a reward after you make the most treacherous deliveries of your life
the reason Kojima still gets away with Excessive Cutscenes in a post-Last of Us world is because his games also still have Excessive Gameplay. he earns both. and also the cutscenes are sometimes really sick
