There have been more starving civilians shot and killed (800+) while waiting for “humanitarian” aid (!) in Gaza than there were Israeli civilians killed on October 7th.
Fr. Musallam was born in the West Bank and served as the Latin priest in Gaza for 14 years (1995-2009). Israeli authorities only let him leave once. Because of the illegal Israeli occupation and land, sea, and air blockade of the Strip he describes Gaza as a prison.
The Patriarchal visit to Gaza was a small step in the right direction but it also underscores just how powerless gentiles are in Israel and the occupied territories. Tldr today’s Jerusalem press conference: “We are against the Holocaust but we are not anti-Third Reich.”
