While aiming no criticism at EMR, this kind of thing is happening too often. These sporting dates are planned well in advance so in theory, clashes with engineering work ought to be avoidable. 30k plus travelling from Nottingham to Wembley.

Flashback Friday: Built between 1999-2001, these Class 460 EMUs lasted on the Gatwick Express until 2012. Unit 460005 is passing Coulsdon on July 14, 2023. Vehicles from the 460s were rebuilt and incorporated in the Class 458/5 units which have just been refurbished to 4-cars.
