Over the past few days, I've been using #github #copilot coding agent to vibe code a little chat application. This has been a really iterative process, starting with a basic react app and gradually building up to live updates. The most recent change live updates 1/n #AgenticAI

Who do I know that would love to do what I do but focusing primarily on AI. And you get to work for one of the best bosses in Microsoft. Come join us

Today we’re releasing GitHub Spark — a new tool in Copilot that turns your ideas into full-stack apps, entirely in natural language.
The moment you start defending your process is the moment you stop improving your product.
If you have a README with environment setup steps, try this: - Create a GitHub issue. - Point Copilot coding agent to your README and tell it to generate a shell script to automate the steps. - Tell it to validate that it works. - Assign to Copilot BOOM! Painless devbox setup.
As incredible as LLMs and multi modal models are, they're still in their "mainframe" era. They require specialized hardware to run and are de facto run in the cloud and limited by cost. There's a whole future awaiting where tech advances to run the big models locally...
We are excited to share that Agent Mode is now Generally Available (GA) in JetBrains, Eclipse and Xcode! Turn prompts into multi-turn code changes, command executions, and streamlining tasks—all within your IDE. Start vibe coding today! github.blog/changelog/2025…

Kicking off async work via the GitHub coding agent has been a force multiplier for team. #github #ai #codingagent
These changes should also positively impact #VisualStudio. Taking a glance at the Next Edit Suggestions in VS dashboard, I can see response latency on a nice down-trend.
the team is continuing to make great progress on Copilot API improvements (thanks @github!) that benefit @code performance and reliability, including: - improved time to first token - large reduction in rate limiting - improvements in apply edits perf - reduction in…
One VS feature I miss in VS Code is virtual space: When the caret auto indents inside of brackets in VS, whitespace isn't added until the user types. The caret is just floating in space to avoid trailing whitespace. In VS Code the whitespace is always added.

It's Friday and it's been a great week of coding and collaboration. I have a hypothesis I want to test. Software devs out there, what percentage of your energy goes to finding the right app, tab, place to scroll, among the open ones during your daily work and context switches.
There’s a cursed C++ competition where programmers try to create the largest possible error message. Finalists created ~1.5GB of error messages from just 256 bytes of source. Preprocessor exploits were so easy, they had to create a separate division! Here's my favorites:
We've integrated background tasks with Copilot coding agent into VS Code in the 1.102 release 🎉. 1. Delegate agent mode sessions to coding agent 2. See coding agent PRs in VS Code 3. Track coding agent sessions in VS Code 4. Open up coding agent PRs in local workspace
