I would argue that in any game which is fast growing, high number of newly listed players at low ratings would always lead to deflation. What I'm curious to understand is why people think this needs to be "fixed". Not debating. Legitimately curious.
FIDE ratings deflation is still an ongoing problem and will continue to propagate through the system. I think it's time to consider fixing it with bigger measures than last year...@FIDE_chess
