I built an email-to-blog blogging system, much like Posterous from back in the day. It supports publishing to RSS, ActivityPub, BlueSky and pings via WebSub. I'm quite happy so far. I used @ValDotTown and their Townie LLM for 99% of the project.
this little bear is so dizzy from doing this but he wants to tell you that i'm dropping these clay x val town templates next monday:
recently, val town's been helping companies with automations too complex for zapier and too out-of-band for your main codebase
I MET MORRY TODAY AND he casually mentioned that he is the author of this tweet omg a val town legend 🥹
I set up a tiny website where people take pictures of my cats in my window and submit them via QR code. Runs completely on @ValDotTown and just sends me an email whenever a new one is taken :)
i can’t talk rn, @todepond’s patreon pondcast ep just dropped (im new here so im VERY excited)

No-code tools threw out the baby (coding) with the bathwater (all the complexity to run & deploy code) Val Town is, as @tylerangert phrased it, "just code"
