I feel attacked.

I hate to always ask for things, but I could really do with some prayers again for a family member.

Surgery was successful— the tumor is out and a bit of his lung. He will be monitored to see if other nodules continue to grow. If so, therapy will begin. 🙏🏼

Just because something feels right doesn't make it morally permissible. Our feelings are often poor guides for objective truth.

Someone needs to make a course on Fillial Correction and give it away for free online. The number of people who abuse others under the guise of "trying to help," is astounding.

I've gotta stop letting myself get pulled into arguments with internet randos, but Calvinism bothers me so much that it's hard not to. Deep breaths. Mute the offender. Move forward. Joy and hope, not despair and resignation. St. Philip Neri, pray for me.

Do not deny the souls in purgatory your prayers because others tell you they are already saved. If someone was baptized a year or even a week before death, unless they are unable to sin, we must pray for their souls.

Some of us are called to have a child-like faith. Others learn everything they can about the church and are better for it. Knowledge isn't a competition and neither is Heaven. I hope that when it is our proper time we'll be able to meet each other in the sweet by and by 💜
