Reminder for all players. Amount of Time spent on phone can affect performance!

How many Jaeger bands @jaegersports are left behind after games during summer ball and tournaments??? Highly recommend to anyone who does not have them or use them. Great tool!!! But remind players to pack them up when finished. Find a lot left behind during summer circuit!

3 types of pitchouts. 1. Traditional PO 2. Unintentional PO. May actually get a chase by batter but body is cleared for take off 3. High pitch PO, gets C to good upright spot. Most cases C’s prefer ball up in zone then down when throwing. Key is P not missing too badly!!
Pitchout 3 step process. Shuffle, left foot reach catch (like 1b), right foot to left foot shuffle
Blocks middle. Secondary stance and 1 knee. 3 types of blocks. Short hop block, long-high hop, pick with glove
Lateral hops. Block or receive for 2. Last one footwork to 1b or 3b depending on direction going
