Albuminuria has a linear association with poor kidney and heart outcomes Sacubitril/valsartan: hold my 🍺 Increased albuminuria but a reduction in the renal composite and slower eGFR decline compared with ACEi/ARB. Oh and also significantly reduces HF events

Interesting study in ambulatory HF patients with volume overload. Cross-over design where each patient received lasix, lasix/metolazone, lasix/diamox with assessment of 6-hr sodium excretion. Lasix/metolazone wins with no benefit to diamox compared to lasix alone.
