i think a subtle way that this is showcased (outside of design variations) is that they own have their own individual voice. usually fragments/mirrors of the self share a VA performing with different inflections. but in the case of the shades, none of them sound the same.
this is pretty much on theme for genshin's usual shenanigans but it's still so interesting to me that the shades seem to harbor individuality despite being essentially "copies"/offshoots of PO.
