This is misleading and deflecting from Arteta. There was never an accusation that Arsenal broke any rules/laws, the issue was that what was going on was public knowledge, and Arteta and the club ignored the victims and publicly celebrated Partey's character on numerous occasions

David Ornstein breaks the Hugo Ekitike transfer news and reports €95M fees. Fabrizio Romano copies it 2 seconds later and reduces the fees to €90M. Sky Sports reports it 5 hours later and brings the fees all the way down to €80M ignoring all the add-ons.
There’s clearly a slight overpay on Ekitike but he really excites me, need to watch more but his ball striking is good, has a range of finishes in his locker and his all round game seems so much fun to watch. Excited to see how his movement vibes with Salah, Wirtz etc
