To answer possible concerns: I know Open Veins is controversial. My objective is to study cultures, so I'm mostly unaffected by its possible inaccuracies and biases(as some have mentioned). It's like a rough roadmap for my future research and readings, so no worries 👋
I finished reading Open Veins of Latin America with great difficulty. It has provided much historical knowledge, and fundamentally transformed my perspective & attitude associated with my study of Latam. (⅕)
