I thought I'd wind the clock back a bit to see how things have changed..... Back in 1997 most of the TPs owned the teams so there wasn't much chance of being sacked. Although Flav did get ousted that year! Prost and Arrows have gone since then and of course there was no Haas.

#OnThisDay in 1979. First F1 victory for Williams Grand Prix Engineering. At Silverstone, Clay Regazzoni (Williams-Ford-FW07) won the British Grand Prix, his 5th & final World Championship race win. Teammate Alan Jones had led comfortably, but retired (water pump) on lap 38.

39 years ago my favourite @WilliamsRacing photograph was taken. Ginny Williams taking the winners trophy for “Team Willy” on the same weekend that Frank briefly returned to the paddock for the first time since his accident. I was @Brands_Hatch that day and it was amazing 💙
