In 2017, Coby White lost his father. In 2020, he lost himself. This season, Coby found his way back — on the court and, more importantly, off it. On redefining success and choosing joy and growing into a man his dad would be proud to meet: chicagotribune.com/2024/03/17/chi…
Essengue is headed back to the locker room now. Able to walk on his own.
Noa Essengue came up limping after a play in the third quarter. Looks to be favoring his right ankle. Left the play but remains on the bench getting attention from the medical staff.

Really like how Matas Buzelis is looking in Game 2 with these elevated ball handling responsibilities. Doing better to invite and manage contact, not always hunting the knockout play.

Noa Essengue is confirmed out for the remainder of the game with a right quad contusion, per Bulls PR.
Essengue headed back onto the court now. Right leg is wrapped up with a pack of ice, positioned over his lower quad/knee.
I am liking what we're seeing from him today in terms of motor going after offensive rebounds. That's the kind of stuff that a rookie can actually change with effort from Game 1 to 2 in a situation like this.
Noa Essengue still has a lot of work to do on that shot. Air balled multiple times today.

Patrick Williams joins the Bulls crew in Las Vegas today. Coby White back for today's game as well.
More lows than highs for Noa Essengue in his NBA summer league debut. Cue the overreactions. chicagotribune.com/2025/07/11/chi…
Matas Buzelis laughing after that game; “They were low key beating me up.” Dunked the ball a little hard but felt good physically. Won’t play tomorrow, will play Monday. That’s his last summer league game.
Summer league results should be taken with a grain of salt, but a 44-point blowout is rough in any setting. Next one up in less than 24 hours.
Not surprised or concerned about any of the discomfort we've seen from Noa Essengue so far. That being said — accidentally knocking a ball into your own basket off a rebound is probably the least desired lowlight for any rookie at summer league.
A little bit of action from Noa Essengue. The rookie couldn't finish off a nice turnaround jumper, but next trip down the court flushed a dunk off a really nice transition feed from Kawamura.
