Villanova football head coach Mark Ferrante said it’s still a QB1 battle between Pat McQuade and Tanner Maddox. He mentioned that it was a two-way battle back in April and they still haven’t decided on who will take that QB1 spot. Probably will know closer to preseason.

Villanova University plans to house 900 students on its newly acquired Cabrini Campus upon its opening in fall 2026, per a release. By doing this, it opens up more opportunities for seniors to secure on-campus housing on West Campus or the Commons.

Jon Rothstein noted Villanova’s biggest weakness or question mark was its front court. Not surprising as a lot of the talent comes from the guard heavy roster, but the Wildcats do have two seven-foot players and Braden Pierce, 7-0, should rotate in off the bench.
