Many thanks to the Chinese Philosophical Association and the Taiwan Philosophical Association for organizing the event. Glad to share some thoughts on participating in international conferences and submitting to peer-reviewed journals from a Hong Konger's perspective😁

We are hiring~ Please spread the news around 😆👋 …qq-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/Candidat…
A big thanks to @The_JOP for publishing a blog post about my recent article on Confucian meritocracy! For those of you who may not have the time to read the full article, here’s a quick overview!
📖Several political theorists have claimed that Confucian meritocracy offers a desirable alternative to democracy. This blog post by @bwwong1984 argues that Confucian meritocracy is implausible because of its instability. Read more⬇️ jop.blogs.uni-hamburg.de/whats-wrong-wi…
Together with my colleagues and a philosophy outreach in Hong Kong, we had a dialogue that introduced our department's curriculum in religion, philosophy, and ethics, and we discussed why these 3 subjects should be studied together. Enjoy! youtube.com/watch?v=graMRm…
Finally ended my Oxford trip, presented at two conferences, attended a public lecture, visited Berlin's and Hart's graves, met lots of friends and teachers, lived in a Medieval-style college bedroom, and finally acquired an Iron Throne model. Start missing the rice at home 🍚

Will present a paper on the brilliant and thought-provoking new book by Kevin Vallier, 'All the Kingdoms of the World: On Radical Alternatives to Liberalism', surely lots of exciting clashes among the perspectives of Catholicism, liberalism, Islam, and Confucianism.🔥

Finally completed my presentation at the 'Religion, Freedom, Equality' conference at Magdalen College, where I discussed how altruistic religious behavior can benefit public deliberation. The feedback has been amazing. Nice weather, great college, and a lovely experience 😁

Looking forward to presenting my paper "Contributing to Public Deliberation by Religious Behavior: Beyond the Inclusivism-Exclusivism Debate" at the "Religion, Freedom, Equality" conference, exploring timely religious issues from legal, political, and philosophical perspectives💪

Finally updated my LinkedIn profile (yes, I created an account about a decade ago but have been ignoring it 😅). For friends who also have a LinkedIn account, please feel free to connect with me~ 😆 linkedin.com/in/baldwin-won…
