Socialists the world over are peddling a false political prospectus. They promise freedom, but when in power they snuff it out.
The percent of temperature readings above 90F (32C) in the US so far this year is 20th lowest on record, less than half of 1934.
Communism - as the most extreme and odious variety of socialism - seeks to deny Man's God-given and unequal talents, seeks to pervert the natural aspirations of human nature and seeks to crush the human spirit.

We should be warned. A society only needs one generation to abandon the task of learning and transmitting its culture, for that culture to become an alien, lifeless, irrelevance. A powerful, radical left-wing clerisy is bent on destroying what every past generation would have…
So far as American democracy becomes or remains Catholic and Christian, that democracy will remain democratic. In so far as it does not, it will become wildly and wickedly undemocratic.

By removing God from society, Socialism removes higher moral standards and wants it's subjects to be weak sloths subservient to government. American Marxists have been effective in taking America down a road of moral decay and laying a foundation to destroy our way of life.
Idleness, selfishness, fecklessness, envy, & irresponsibility are vices upon which socialism in any form flourishes & which it in turn encourages. But its devilishly clever tactic is to play up to all these human failings, while making those who practise them feel good about it.
Let us remember that it was Marxism, the creed of the intellectual not of the people, which took away all property and all freedom and ultimately produced a world of fear, misery and servitude.
Of course, there is some poverty in capitalist societies: but there is far more poverty - as well as far less freedom - in socialist ones.
Marxists will use silky-smooth language to woo people and persuade them that they are giving power to the people. History shows us that once Marxists take the reins of power they offer death, tyranny, and the pursuit of misery.
Those who live under the heel of Marxist tyranny look with envy at the very things we take for granted. They know that politics is about more than economics in a free society.
